I saw him do this song on AGT first, then found it on his Puddles YT channel here and watched it twice. I’m a 65 year old curmudgeon (so says my wife) and I find myself with damp eyes, every time I see it. We’ve had two shelter dogs. One was a gem, the other was very problematic, but turned into a really nice boy after a number of years. I miss them both.

I was approached by a music recording label/talent management company years ago. In our conversation the guy asked, do you know why some mediocre singers make it big and lots of really good singers don't? He said "PROMOTION." Without the right promotion you won't go anywhere.
I said that to say this... It's sad, (a real pity party), that a man with a voice and talent like this man, and has been singing for as long as he has, would have to reinvent himself as a clown to get the attention and PROMOTION he has deserved to have for so long.
Good on ya Puddles. Fly among those lesser stars and show them what talent really sounds like.
