Grazie Mille Manu! We leave for Italy October 19. My mother was from Naples, so I will be meeting many of my relatives for the first time. I am learning so much from these lessons!

For most all Western speakers, we know this about Spanish and Italian verbs.
But I can imagine this video is absolutely gold for any Eastern speaker learning Italian.
Excellent resource!

When you said there were 3 groups of verbs, I had strong Spanish déjà vu.

I'm so happy I found this channel and your awesome podcast! I just started listening while doing the dishes and was happy to recognize more words than I expected, even at this very beginner level. What a beautiful language, so very musical. I could listen to you talk all day! Mille grazie, Manu!

Ciao Manu!

You are an absolutely amazing teacher, very blessed for finding you.

Questions please.

1. Is there an easy way to know when a word has 2 consecutive consonants? I struggle with that.

Example: penna, letttura, scriptural, etc

2. Easy way to know when words do not separate from each other?

Examples: buongiorno, buonasera, buonanotte vs Buon pomeriggio

GRAZIE MILLE!

This course together with Language Transfers' introduction to Italian has really started to give me more confidence in my ability to learn a language which I spectacularly failed at many years ago when trying to learn French in school. Thank you so much. :)

Day 8 : this is exactly the thing that always frightened languages learners "verbs", I wish i can find a way to remember irregular verbs easly.

This is so helpful! I wish I'd found you sooner Manu. I can say a lot of things in Italian, but I never learned why. It was all listening, repeating, and then recalling. It worked well, and I could build sentences fairly easy, but I learned none of the rules. And none of the spelling. I'm learning I've been picturing words all wrong! I knew to say Lei for formal "you" (I thought it was spelled "le"), but I didn't know it is kind of like talking to someone in third person. I like how you break things down in a very simple way. Thank you for such excellent and entertaining lessons

As a native russian speaker, using 6 cases, 3 conjugations and 3 genders in the language, person who's professional in English, i smiled when i heard that italian verbs are hard.

Awesome lesson!
Im from Serbia, and i know English fluent-speaking, and its very hard to find Italian free lessons in Serbian so im watching English version 😂
As Serbian some things are probably easier for me like pronounciation then for English speakers 😬
But i like this course thank u very much 😊
