In oldschool runescape there are 100's of different training methods to try, but over the years the best once rise to the top and the majority never see any use.

That said there are definitely some good, but underrated training methods I think more people should know about. Today I am going to be covering 5 of my personal favorite methods. These for the most part are not meta training methods, they wouldn't really be underrated if they were. That said these methods do offer something unique, or just a great alterative training method.

Thanks for watching

You already know flipping oldschool bought up a ton of venator bows before releasing this video. Well played.

Venator bow is also very very good for Bloodvelds, Hellhounds, Dagonnaths, and Jellies on task. Did most of 97-99 slayer just completely AFK with it.

1:50 Thank you for clarifying that you'd prioritize the venator bow over other ranged gear for the venator bow method ;P

Instead of shift-clicking withdraw all you can shift+left click and set the left click option to withdraw all. Expanding on this method, i have hammer and chisel set to withdraw 1, logs to 5 and seeds to all. This way i can click everything once and be off on a birdhouse run, no matter what my bank withdrawal is set to.

IMO the stone chests are a nice way to multitask a bunch of stuff for early Ironmen. If you start your ironman with a thieving based build (for early GP, rogue's outfit, pickpocketing master farmers for an easy way into starting farming ect ect) then you'll definitely want to do this.

The main reason is not the clue scrolls but the 1/300 chance at getting a xeric's talisman. Assuming you get it at ~300 picked chests it will also give you enough lizardman fangs for early game until you reach lizardman shamans.

And trust me, early xeric's talismans are very strong. The teleport to the hosidius farming patch alone makes it worth it.

But also, on top fo the talismans, you get gems, bolt tops, and a somewhat decent mage robes that you can get multiple of (to use in the wilderness or elsewhere without fear of losing)

I probably wouldn't do this method after getting the talisman, or if I was a main account, but it's great to know.

A video braking down the best clue outfits to wear for teleports ect would be amazing!

You can ressurect the abyssal heads without even picking them up for way more prayer xp/hr

To maximize prayer exp, you can bring runes for Demonic Offering, and Expert Reamimation.
Demonic offering will help with PP loss, as it does give 3 points per cast, assuming you use the maximum amount of ashes per offering.

Woah, I've never heard of the Shazien Agility Course. I think I'm past the point where it would matter for my account, but it looks a lot cooler than the Canifis one.

summer garden is actually a solid thieving method with very low clicks per xp, if you use the one click summer garden plugin

Wow, i really wanna try the stone chest now. I love doing medium clues, and the crafting xp ontop is really nice.

That farming/construction method seems actually a good idea. Buying 1k pink dyes on my ironman right now. You can kinda spambuy them on a phone or tablet

Thanks for the video! Really like finding out about alternative training methods. It can be really fun to break away from the "best way to train" and try different methods out that are still relatively efficient.

Got 90thieving in a week at stonechests on my 3lvl hc skiller. Lizardmen max 9s and you can lose their aggro completly. Was very chill and OK alternative for belladonna seeds. If u want some of those on a skiller before 99thiev and masterfarmers. P.S spam click the chest

Can also use the venator bow in nmz. Absorption potions, super ranging and 2 hours later, around 350k range xp, and enough points to get herb boxes for days. Nothing crazy but it’s nice when working

For the stone chests; gem bag would be nice, rather then making those into bolt tips, could be good for ironmen getting their gems for duel rings/game necklaces.

That's quite fascinating seeing the thieving chests in there, since I randomly figured that one out myself recently when I was looking into getting my first Xerics Talisman and just didn't feel like knocking over lizards. Not as crazy on an Iron Man for money, but quite comfy and useful gems

Love these types of videos. Med clues aren't too hard to get, do you have any advice on how to efficiently get hard/elite clues? I know you can do skotizo, barrows, bird house runs etc, but is there any less known ones?
