This tutorial is a good head start to creating a parallax website.

That being said, there are some issues with this format that people may need to overcome. The "index" page needs to have an explanation, rather than, just going forth and wiggling the mouse all over the page. Because the author goes quickly and does not give explanation, one will have to keep pausing, rewinding, repeat. The author also adds javascript, which is confusing to people who are only here for the CSS and HTML, which is why some type of explanation seems necessary. Last, looking at the other comments and replies from the author, it is not really encouraging to state problems that arise once you open the files. Instead, you may get, "check your code." Remember: Visual Studio Code interface may look different/have or not have different features; age/year and mac/pc.


All in all, if you are familiar with the code, have the patience to pause/rewind/code/repeat, and are able to find and solve any code problems, then this video is definitely for you. The website outcome is attractive and works well with different sizes.

why is it doesn't show background pictures with i open it?

Hi...first of all thank you for such tutorial...I tried building this Parallax website but got stuck at one point although I followed all the points that you mentioned. The problem that I am facing is that my last two background images are not working. They are displayed as normal image only. What could be the reason plus these two images are repeating although I have set "background repeat: no-repeat" in CSS
