SC Advocate Nalin Kohli On Gyanvapi Masjid Dispute: 'No Act Can Be Permanent In Its Exact Character'

Gyanvapi Masjid News: The Varanasi court has sacked the commissioner of the team appointed to survey the Gyanvapi mosque complex for allegedly leaking information to the media. The court commissioner, Ajay Kumar Mishra, had also allegedly hired a private cameraman, who has now been accused of leaking to the press.
The court, while axing the top official it had appointed weeks ago, termed his conduct ‘irresponsible’ and emphasized that any court-appointed official must act like a public servant. But Mishra appointed a private cameraman who leaked information, it noted.
The other two members of the team, Ajay Pratap Singh and Vishal Singh, will continue at their posts and they have been asked to submit the report of the survey within two days.
The Muslim side has been persistently accusing Ajay Mishra of being biased and there was a call to remove him earlier as well.

The places of worship act of 1991 is illegal and should be repealed. Any act, including this act can & should be amended with immediate effect.
It’s the right of the Hindus to get back their places of worship.

Please consider the contention that the name of place cannot be the basis to decide whether the area is mosque or temple. So act of 1991 to be interpreted in favour of party based on scientific investigation by experts. So act of 1991 cannot be stand in the way to decide the present legal battle.

Act passed in parliment is law to be abided and followed by all. You don't interpret the Act according to your whims and fancy.

Sir I am of the opinion that as per place of worship Act, also the God or structure present inside the mosque even by 1947 till now so the same shall be continued there and the Hindu are entitled to worship their gods present there continuously. In case the Honourable gave finding that there are marks of temple then it shall be declared as temple, based on scientific evidence which is oldest one .

A 1991-Law, enacted *44 years after independence in 1947* should be deemed as the *epitome of basic structure of Indian Constitution* . Ambedhkar, Nehru, Gandhi forgot to legislate the 1991-law in the interests of defining the basic structure of the constitution at the time of framing the constitution ! Moreover, the 1991-Law should have been in the preamble of Indian constitution back in 1948 for the shaping and preservation of the basic structure of Indian constitution...
