I have this assignment, how do I approach it?
The design constraints on a computer memory can be summed up by three questions:
How much? How fast? And How expensive? Ideally, the memory would be fast, large,
and inexpensive. Unfortunately, it is impossible to meet all three of these requirements
simultaneously. Increased speed and size are achieved at increased cost. With the help
of figures and illustrations, discus computer memory in detail and on the basis of the
above evaluation, design an approach that can be used to improve the apparent speed
and size of the memory in future developments, yet keeping the cost reasonable.
