Can iPhone 15 USB-C Port Work With iPhone 14? #Shorts

Taking the yellow iPhone 15’s back glass and putting it on the yellow iPhone 14

Someone once did it to a 13 but in a longer process by connecting the lightning cable pins directly to the port then the wires of the cable to a Usb C port and then sodered it onto a 3d printed part to host the usb-c port and replaced the original one that housed the metal part of the lightning port and just stuck the pins somewhere upwards

they're exactly the same shape other than the internal connector, so this is possible if someone were to make a mod and swap the connector or if someone started manufacturing a 3rd party USB C connectors.

I believe you could do the same thing with the Lightning to USBC cable. This WILL require micro-soldering and a understanding of which wires are which.

People have put usb c on iphones before you just have to solder usb c connection to the lightning port

Idea: since this port is meant for USB 3 speeds, try the normal iPhone USB C port on the iPhone 14/14 pro

Even if they are of same size we can never know whether the pins match or not. So doing something without knowing the pin order can be highly damaging. PRG might know the pinouts. But still one must be careful.

Even if the cables were the correct size and fitments as each other, the MoBo would probably either fry the other charging port or get fried from the port due to the unexpected change in voltage. And even if it didn't, you'd still have to modify the 14's case to accomodate the Type-C Port

Actually that's not true I saw someone on an earlier model make their iPhone have usb-c and it's not about swapping the parts they had to go in and build up from scratch and do soldering and stuff so if you know how to do soldering and all that stuff then you definitely can switch out the plug for usbc.

My god. Iphone internal structure is always beautiful. It's so clean and well organized. No cable wire scrambled everywhere insted they're using flex cables which is really convenient

Not on iphone 14 and not from iphone 15 but a guy his channel name is : DD ElectroTech from India did an experiments and it turn out successfully for him, He replace the lightning port to USB TYPE -C 1 YEAR AGO!

You can do it with a mod

You have to deattach the lighting port than solder an usb c port to the board

You know sir there is another type of transfer you can do via Bluetooth it is more secure
