Star Wars Rebels Full Trailer (Official)

This Star Wars Rebels full trailer features more never-before-seen action and story details from the highly anticipated animated series.

Starring a small band of heroes -- Sabine, Kanan, Hera, Ezra, Zeb, and Chopper -- Star Wars Rebels is set in a time where the Empire rules through fear and shrouds the galaxy in darkness. This trailer offers many new glimpses at sequences from the show, including the starship Ghost chased by TIE Fighters; young Ezra watching as a Star Destroyer looms overhead; Stormtroopers marching; a zero-g fight between our heroes and Imperials; and Kanan, a secret Jedi, assembling his lightsaber and preparing for battle. It ends, however, with an Imperial officer reporting to the Inquisitor -- the Empire's Jedi hunter, seen and heard here for the first time.

Star Wars Rebels takes place between Star Wars: Episode III and IV as the Empire tightens its grip on the galaxy and a rebellion begins to form. The series, executive produced by Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman, is scheduled to premiere in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel and will be followed by a series on Disney XD.

It's hilarious how people try to act like they are all grown ups who love violence and adult material when this franchise began as a story of a farm boy, hot head and his giant animal sidekick, old knight and robots going to save the princess from big bad guys. Yes of cause Star Wars has grown since then to different ways but at the core it is still good ol family friendly sci-fi we know and love. It's so unfortunate that these people who pretend to be fans are trying to convince themselves otherwise.

Guys, guys,  Star Wars Rebels' Exec Producers are Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Greg Weisman. Filoni worked on the original Clone Wars series, Kinberg worked on the X-Men films, and Weisman created Gargoyles and worked on Young Justice. It seems like this show is in good hands. (Though I do find the trailer a tad disappointing, I was hoping it would show more darker stuff, though it is a kids show, and to begin with Star Wars never was all about being gritty.)

Everyone has mixed feelings about this show including me to be honest I would of been happy if they finished the Clone Wars then made this instead of cancel it to do this. I mean the Clone Wars was almost over

Can't wait. This team did such a great job with Clone Wars, and I love the super simplistic art style, reminiscent of Ralph's original concepts. This show will be beautiful in a whole new way. Look forward to what Dave and Co show us and I can't wait until this fall!

Wow I love how even the lightsaber is in the mcquarrie style!
I hated how the lightsaber blade was just a static glowtube in the Clone Wars. In the movies the blade always vibrated a little bit.

I think this show has plenty potential. At first i didn't like the new show but after seeing this trailer i can actually say i am very excited for Star Wars: Rebels. It shows a lot of potential and is worthy of a fellow star wars fans attention

One small trailer and people already say its shit? need to just give the actual thing a watch the animation looks....well....wierd (believe me I was expecting the same quality as in The Clone Wars), but nowadays, we have already seen that they are always showing incomplete renders in trailers nowadays....I think the premise sounds decent
