this makes sense now, putting proxies in a separate folder. I imagine this is so helpful with performance when editing on an older MacBook or MBA.

A panasonic camera has added the ability to record proxy simultaneously. However, I did not know how to connect them. This video solved everything. Thank you very much!

this was really good , I think I got it lol as a seasoned fcpx editor I never had to use proxies but not having a silicon laptop as yet I know imma need it lol ... definitely gotta practice this workflow when my zv e1gets here ...

Thanks for posting this! Question— around 1:31 you show renaming the files. This will be my first time using FCP. I’m not clear, why do you do that/need to do that? Thanks!

Thanks a lot for that! I had a problem relinking the proxies. It says: "It cannot be relinked...relinked files must have the same media type similar audio channels"... It does'nt make sense, they are just copied from my sony camera as they are... Do you know how to solve that problem?
