can't enter a upper or lower on my ti-84, had to download an emulator and even doing so i just get "error go to" when i do the same as you

When calculating the integral of a function that crosses the x-axis, it considers the area under the x-axis as negative. Is there any way to change this setting on the calculator to consider the negative area as positive? Thanks
