700 dollars for what? Haha that’s more than the console!

$700 is more than a laptop that can run PCSX2 in crisp 1080p.

Also the Retrotink 5X pro is perfect for the vast majority of people.

You can just buy an older tv for 100 bucks at best and call it a day

I guess this is the audiophile version for gaming. If anything, AV cables are a go to. I still have a 60 inch Bravia that has AV ports. I don't care about quality to the point of getting expensive components to emulate what a CRT could do for a lot less than what this thing is selling for.

I consider myself a gaming enthusiast - I bought the Retrotink 4k. You can also plug in multiple consoles to it at once, so it's good for more than just PS2.

PS2 games look even better on my $300 mini pc

Retrotink is much more than an "HDMI adapter": will you buy a Ferrari for your daily shopping?
Leave entry adapters to people who just want to play PS2;
Get a Retrotink if you are interested in advanced video processing.

$700 is more expensive than just loading up PCSX2 and setting the internal res to your screen's res + HD texture packs

When I want to play a ps2 game, I want to play the ps2 game, even if I emulate ps2 games on my PC, I play it with native resolution

Sharpness for sure and the bilinear filter yes, if saturation/colours or textures I mean the retro tink with whatever lighting or otherwise nah at least with the Jak footage. The rest of the games or angles you showed it did look better yes.

I thought money is high but the effort and hardware does make a difference. But got to have component cables and work out the settings while the other is simpler.

I have a HDMI AV adaptor and all it seems to do is offer 720/1080p but it's not sharpness good it's just well scale resolution different it's fine. It's fair for what it is.

Yea the problem with level hike is the micro usb port on the device itself. It became worn out, and it doesnt make proper contact with the micro usb cable I got it with it. It sucks, cus is actually really good, and I needs the micro usb port to be removed and changed, but I dont have a soldering device, nor I have no idea how to use one.

Might as well put the $700 towards a PC and emulate PS2 at 4K.
