It is common in science to attribute results to people who were not original discoverers. This is likely to be the case with Pythagoras Theorem- the most well- known mathematical fact !

You should read the book, "The Cult of Pythagoras". It's by a history professor (Alberto Martinez) who has made a career out of debunking false and speculative stories from the history of science. He has a lot to say about Pythagoras. In fact, there's no evidence that Pythagoras himself did any mathematics at all. Those, such as Plato, who wrote about him closest to the time he lived, discuss him as a religious leader without mentioning any math. And Plato was interested in mathematics.

There is certainly no evidence that Pythagoras had a proof. If you doubt me, read the book. It will give you a ton of material for further videos. He has other interesting books on the general topic of the history of science and mathematics as well.
