What's 12Church all about?

You know how most churches focus big resources on their facilities and weekly worship services, yet see few people coming to faith and becoming followers of Jesus?

We’ve eliminated the weekly worship service and the resulting need for a large church facility. The freed up resources are focused on strategic evangelism and disciple making.

It's easy to find fault with other leaders. Let's make sure we examine ourselves and our own conduct whenever we hear about a leader going sideways.

Listening to the Mars Hill podcast has brought a lot of understanding to many people, particularly those have been trying to figure out what went wrong and how to avoid these problems and be confident church attenders and leaders. I have gone through some pretty serious trauma with narcissistic people, and it made sense that Mark has struggled with deep insecurities which have led him to do the same things over and over in order to bolster his own image. If you check out his new material and new church, the message is the same though his beliefs have decidedly shifted. It is hard to take that he is out there gathering support, finances, followers and publishing books etc. without accountability. (Reminds me a bit of Macbeth as I am teaching it at the moment.)
