As someone who has had the Civic 1.0 VTEC, don't bother if you want any sort of power, it's such an underpowered engine for the size of the car and a fuel guzzler as a result. 1.5 seems really nice.

I’ve got one and it’s an absolute pleasure to drive. Go over 5, 000 RPM and the exhaust note increases with the vtec chime. The only negative point is that the CVT gearbox is a bit lumpy and clumsy around town

Yo llevo con él 4 meses y es cierto que la aceleración es brutal, si te contienes en llevarlo sobre 130 km/h, puedes conseguir fácilmente bajar el consumo de 6, 5 l/100km
