What is an OPTOMETRIST?

This video is from the College of Optometrists and is a great way to explain what an optometrist is and what one can do for your vision and eye health. Dr Valarie Jerome of Valarie Jerome Optometrists earned an OD (Doctor of Optometry) degree and practiced in the USA for many years treating many eye conditions before moving to the UK. She is currently training to become a specialist optometrist (Independent Prescribing Optometrist) so that she can once again treat eye conditions in addition to routine eye examinations.
