Why am I Interested in UX design? Because I am a creative person who is looking for an innovative career. One that pays well and is flexible allowing me to work from anywhere. Also I am very interested in what the latest technologies are and would like to contribute in some way providing value in the business. Also since it's a fairly new field and the demand is high, I figured to take advantage of the opportunity to learn it now.

Thanks for the video man very insightful and encouraging

I am always inclined to creative stuff and tech. I think UX design combines the two really well, and it seems like something that excites me to work for everyday. Hopefully, I can become a UX designer in the future.

Working as an electrician in NY. While I don love what I do, I eventually plan to move away from the city and when I do I know that the construction industry while still in full tilt will not be the same. This job seems like a good approach to staying active with people, but also a more diverse and travel-able trade

During the pandemic i was asked to work more online and digital with my interior design projects, and found the interest of both working remote and to find smart solutions for our company on how to digitalize the projects. I have decided to do a career move as this career path give me more freedom to work anywhere, I resesrch solutions, i design and can be both creative and strategic. Is this the right mindset? Looking forward to start this new path anyway ☺️

Great breakdown, thank you for making the vid! I'm investigating UX courses right now, probably going with General Assembly - I'm 31, bit of a career change but it seems like the community is friendly, you're researching and designing all day and obviously the money is great!

Just a personal advice, i think the music is a little too distracting sometimes. May be try some soft music so the viewer is not distracted.

I never thought about non-profits, but that's a great point: UX designers don't necessarily need to work with for-profit companies.

Would want to explore the creative self in me and keep challenging and going through multiple iterations till it satisfies the user with pros of travel and continuous new faces that teach one to grow. Would really be glad to know more about it and pursue it as my career. Thank you for Motivating!

Great info. Currently making the transition from print and robot like artworking jobs to UX. Definitely a way more exciting, future proof and better paid direction to take.

UX notes for this video. Make sure when you are reading the text on the screen you read it accurately. Shorten your descriptions at times. And tune down the music, it can get distracting.

Hey Wallace, great video. I'm a budding web developer and am also interested in UX/UI design. I see the necessity for being able to identify the best way to provide a service to your potential clients and converting them. Any thoughts about web developers who want to also be designers? I've heard people grumble at the thought.
