I love the play on words here. To “Love Bomb” someone is to shower them with praise/love/gifts so they feel more comfortable excusing abuse or slights against them because they feel like they owe you.

Every song is heatwaves, im impressed while they all sound similar they each stand out, every song has something about it. Very intriguing that while taking no risks each song is a hit. Rare to do. The album also flows great because of that so. Solid album of the year candidate.

I've listened to this track on Spotify probably 20-30 times now, and I've been hearing it either as:

"So goddamn indecisive
Oh and it's *Big Ben* inside ya
I think I just found the bomb"
(Big Ben being a *ticking* object, relating to the tick of a bomb, while also potentially alluding to the pendulum swing of old clocks, transposing between two opposite ends in temperament.)


or

"So goddamn indecisive
Oh and it's *tickin'* inside ya
I think I just found the bomb"
(Similar to the former in meaning, just less convoluted.)

And, while Glass Animals is my favorite band, and I've always respected their lyrical capabilities and poetic nuances, I think the versions I've been hearing (especially the latter) suit the theme and tone better.
