Learning Tuesdays | Stalled Learning Recovery and Bright Spots from 2023
Показать описание
Early this fall, we hosted a session that engaged data experts in an exploration of new analysis of the pace of learning recovery post-COVID with multiple reports – by NWEA, Curriculum Associates, and NCES/NAEP – finding that recovery largely stalled during the 2022-23 school year and lifting up bright spots of progress in several cities and states. We continued to dig deeper in the new data, engaging a wide range of education leaders, including representatives from Catholic, charter, rural, urban and Department of Defense schools; national associations of principals, superintendents and state chiefs; as well as national thought leaders (Jean-Claude Brizard of Digital Promise, Bruno Manno of Walton Family Foundation, and Michael Petrilli of Fordham).
