Gallbladder removal has made getting in ketosis difficult bit to mention all the discomfort. So 😞 discouraged.

I often imagine how our ancestors lived. I assume it is more natural to have my OMAD in the early evening 2-4 before bedtime. It is like being on a hunt through the day and at the end there is the gratification, rest and parasympathetic zone. I feel more focused in the morning and when going to bed almost fully digested I feel that my body is in a mode it is built for.

Well I'm definitely stalled. after the first four months, and losing 40 pounds, I feel things are going in reverse. Also getting my fasting glucose (morning) down to almost normal, around 110, now it also seems to be climbing. My diet has stayed the same, if not better, I usually stay between 15-20 grams of carbs per day, sometimes less. I IF everyday, the first meal is around 11AM, I eat dinner no later than 6PM. I have not tried an extended fast, I guess that's next. Stay tuned....

Dr. Jason Fung (world famous doc who "discovered" that insulin is the problem) gives all his info on YT gratis. - His way of leveling up when you stall is to add fasting hours. That is it.

Sounds great, but it dies not work for me...after 6 weeks of not losing, I started gaining.

Dr. Boz! I stall on occasion. I get some bad fuel. Then you have to lean out and adjust the CARBuretor and put in a better fuel and rev it up.
Vroom! Yeah! That's the ticket. 💪 😎👍👍

Fasting for 48 to 60 hours should almost always work. The hardest part is getting through the 1st day. Probably best to do just a water fast with only a few needed electrolytes. Morton's Lite Salt is a cheap source for both sodium and potassium.
