Sure brings back lots of memories of what it was like back in the day. People were a lot easier to talk to then. Not preoccupied with a phone or in a big hurry to get somewhere.

I was 4 when WW2 ended. Dad came home and we got a car, a better place to live, & commodities were more plentiful. Life was good.❤
My parents leased and ran a Sinclair Truck Stop in the 50’s. So cars had a big influence on my life. In the Fall the transport drivers would let me peek at a new car before they arrived at the dealers. That was pretty thrilling for a teenage boy.
Lots of car stories & memories of those days I’ll never forget.

I need to find at least two of the gas stations. The one @4:48 where the gas is 2 cents per gallon and tax was 3 cents per gallon. The high rate of tax was probably in California.
The other station is @ 10:40 with about a dozen lovely ladies servicing the car.
These pictures bring back many memories. 😊😊

The Shell station about 2:00 in is in the Lowell district of Bisbee, AZ and is still there in 2024. Not a working station though at this time.
