Well T.O. never officially left the league, the nfl black balled him so I understand his desire to leave on his own terms. He never got that and I believe that motivates him to prove to everyone that he can still play. Plus he is also in the Hall of Fame already which shows you that his passion is playing. TO was one of the best WRs of all time in the NFL and is still a physical specimen. Assuming he still has talent to play, I believe he would be just an average NFL WR in today’s game. In his prime he would be an impact player in todays NFL but at 49 just an average player. I just don’t see him playing except as a PR move.

1. I don't think he actually made anywhere near $80M, because, eg, he was cut and did not play out these contracts to the fullest. They don't just hand you the amount of the contract on Day One. 2. How dumb is this interviewer? "Are you saying you would give up the $1.1 million and play for free??" Huh? No one can play for free; there are minimums. She does not understand the difference between 'willing to take the lowest amount they can legally pay' and 'willing to play for no money'?

Teams in the NFL are under no obligation to bring terrell in or anybody for that matter for any reason and no one can force them to, they draft or bring in whoever they think can help them win, terrell is 48, 49 ..he looks like he could help someone, he seems to be in NFL shape but he was a very difficult guy to deal with .. his age is also a safety liability, could he still play at a high level 20, 25 snaps a game sure, will someone sign him ...I don't think so- he has great experience but why back an old horse when you have young coachable guys ready and willing to play straight from college ...but who really knows
