Lin: Very cool hair style, she is very similar to his grandma Lucy (8/10)
Vikram: I like how he keeps his charisma, he's always smiling (10/10)
Eddy: It has a good design but as a character I find it quite... meh (6/10)

In my personal opinion, I believe Duolingo is really good at teaching the Romance Language Family (Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, and Portuguese) because they all have very similar grammar to English and use the latin alphabet. However, languages that have a new alphabet and different grammar, Duolingo’s style of teaching doesn’t fit as well. In languages like Japanese that have very different grammar and entirely new concepts like tone and combining letters to great new characters, you really need more than one source for this. Duolingo themselves even recommend serious language learners to not use Duolingo alone for Japanese and Chinese. The Duolingo team is always working on making their language learning more affective, so I choose to support them nonetheless 👍

And you have to admit, the characters and visuals are adorable! :3
