This sled was a barn find, though it has 4832 miles on the clock. A grandpa kept it running for the gran kids before it was retired over 20 yrs ago. New owner and life time friend Burly and i decided , after giving life to his 1973 TNT 340 & 440 Silver Bullets this winter, to resurrect this 294 a year ahead of schedule. Tried to kept a few things "correct" and other things like the blue fuel lines and clamps not. Learned a lot and still learning so any feed back would be kewl. Just wanted to make it reliable with out going into a full blown restoration. ......yet......... have 2 more 294 chassis....thinking of doing a 294 rat sled with pipes and mod engine maybe need responses...for parts or ideas. thanks

I had a 294 Silver Bullet back in 79'. Nice looking sled. Fun for a young teenager at the time. I miss the old sleds.

Yup, those little wires for the clips are stock. Same as all my elan's. You have a very fine piece of Canadian history right there man. Enjoy.

294 with twin tilly were problematic, we had one was back to ski doo dealer twice for burned pistons bad seal base gaskets, dad traded next year for 74 340 fc tnt that ran great except for recall on Square shaft clutch bushings.

GOOSE, Ron Thompson, has all sorts of parts for theses sleds. Good to deal with too. Easy to find online.

Nice! i had the 340 Silver Bullet...People used to tell me the 294 was actually faster than the 340....Probably due to twin carbs... mine had bogie wheels....How were the sliders on those 73 Bullet's?
