USA ruled womens football but the last couple of years they did not improve that much and the rest of the world made huge improvements in all assets of the game. This will also be the case at the highest level.

So many mistakes on the US defense. They have the talent but they lack soccer fundamentals. Shielding, playing simple, over dribbling, holding the ball too long. That first goal given to Japan was embarrassing and it says a lot about the player lacking fundamentals. The tactical development in US soccer is weak
