If someone recommends Beyerdynamic DT 770 you might want to investigate the sound graph, those things are high on the treble and there are better options in the price range. They are not open so IEMs might be better

I bought the Steel series arctis pro wireless for £90 used. 2.4ghz wireless (insane response time), incredible sound quality for everything (check RTings), good mic quality, and the dock is genius (charges the 2nd battery while you're using the other so there's always a charged battery). I'd say it was worth it

Yh I agree with you, but sometimes (depending on the headset you get, like the one you have) you need to buy a good amp to get the best out of it, and that could cost some extra money, plus some of the REALLY good mics need a mixer (like the goxlr)

I have a G733 and yes the mic and battery is good, BUT ITS NOT GOOD FOR LISTENING TO MUSIC

I agree with this by so much, like for the nova pros, you could get a set of HD560s and something like a AT2020 by audio Technica. You will have better sound quality, comfort, mic quality, and it still ( in my opinion ) looks better

I just bought the Sreelseries headset for a major sale and they are absolutely amazing. They'll demolish my ears if I'm not careful. Batteries seem to last long enough, especially with the way they designed the charger.

Investigate sound stage, imaging and other factors. For gaming I recommend buying a good set of headphones and a good mic separately. You don’t need wireless if that headset is going nowhere else

DT 990/770 + Mic + Amp is way more expensive than a wireless gaming headset. Also for a wireless headset you can use it for your phone and other stuff and you can tune it how ever you want(I got nova 7 for $149 )

The space one ones are pretty good to charge 5 mins 4 hrs of usage

Audio profile is everything and me i like 40mm drivers 50mm sounds to wide to far away when gaming depending on the game you usually want your audio close and clear and loud but the clarity comes from the profile and yes 50mm drivers have a more clear sound but i dont really need that im not mixing music or something i dont need to hear a drum or bongo in my left or right ear type stuff get whats comfortable to you

The headphones you're slinging around are steelseries Arctis 7, and they're like 50-80 bucks, sounds great, have a retractable mic, and a top strap instead of pads. They're amazing and worth the price. Cheap af

I tend to agree price to performance is something that I go for however for me personally I try to buy a headset with a built in mic because unfortunately I just don't have room on my desk for a separate mic and my apartment isn't big enough to get a bigger deak
