A friend from work inherited an avocado farm in Mexico. About 100 acres. He told me that there was nothing more dangerous than owning an avocado farm in Mexico. Cartels own them, even when you “own” them. The avocado industry is 100% a bloody industry. Not to mention the avocados that are sold in the US are actually the small crappy ones. My buddy said his avocados were the size of melons. But those avocados are used in processing.

You know why avocado is the most dangerous fruit on agriculture ? it consume the most water approximately 70 liters per fruit, matter fact if you are growing and exporting avocado you are basically exporting your water supply. and i don't need to stretch on this point with the climate change and its impact this year.
