Finnish And Swedish Prime Ministers Consider Joining NATO For 'Security'

Finland's Prime Minister Sanna Marin and Sweden's Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson discussed the possibility of joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on Wednesday, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. "NATO is an organization where important decisions concerning our security are taken" Marin shared as she expressed it is fundamental to weigh up the consequences and risks of joining the treaty.

Russia's current debacle in the Ukraine against poorly equipped troops should be a warning sign to the Kremlin that going after Finland a third time will be a charm for the Finns who are better trained, better equipped and just as dedicated to defending their homeland as the Ukrainians.
I feel sorry for the people of Russia. The leadership and political influencers not so much. I would like to believe Vladimir loves his people and is intelligent enough to lead away from disaster.

If you are not threatened, then you have no need of alliances. If you are threatened, then you do. Russia attacking Ukraine is an existential threat to all its other neighbors. So they will ally against Russia. NATO would have little relevance if Putin hadn't provided it .But, of course, he did.

Better figure it out quickly. Ukraine didnt even join (tried but denied regretfully) and was attacked. So just speaking in desire of joining can cause quite a blunder. Figure it out and get it done before its too late.
