This is a Davinci Resolve 3D Infographic tutorial. I show how to make an animated 3D infographic in Resolve. Data can be shown and animated along with numbers easily in Resolve. I find making infographics much easier in Resolve than After Effects or Adobe Premiere. Show off your data in your next video with some incredible 3D animated infographics make easily in Davinci Resolve. I show how to add the animation to infographics in Resolve. How to add animated shapes in Resolve for your infographics and more. This infographics tutorial works in the Free version and the Studio version of Resolve. You will need to use the Fusion page, but I show you how.

Nicely done! The duplicate 3D node seems like an easy way to add depth to 2d inputs. Could you make a video on lighting? The different kinds of lights and when to use a certain one? And also shadows? I’ve had some difficulty getting shadows to work properly, particularly when using image planes. Thanks!

I tried following along, doing each step as you did it. However, I ran into something that I couldn't manage. When you connected the Camera and Spotlight nodes to the Merge node, both had a line snapping into place on your screen, along the top of the Merge node. However, no matter what I try, I cannot get both of those nodes to connect along the top of the Merge node like yours did. One or the other always wanted to connect at the end, along the short vertical end of the node's rectangle. I tried to emulate your actions with this dozens of times, and ended up just getting more and more frustrated. Please help me understand what I am doing wrong. (Working with DR 17 still)
