The media server never finds my PS3, I have 2 of them and it doesn't find ether of them, and I enabled my media server option on my PS3

I used to use this until I got the no renderers found issue as well. It's been well over a year since its worked for me. But today someone gave me these little instructions that I didn't think would work
In the following order:
shut down PS3
shut down PC
shut down wireless router
wait 10secs
restart router
restart PC including PS3 Media server
restart PS3
And to my surprise I saw a green check mark

i have a problem with my PS3 Media Server it says No renderers were found. but it was working fine yesterday

I had my PS3 run a search for Media Servers while running the PS3 Media Server application on my Mac, then it connected.

I got my PS3 connected to my internet through Wifi

@headwing45 There is no problem there then! My PS3 is connected through Ethernet and I have no problems. Many be try to see if it's the Wi-fi, connected the PS3 two an Ethernet, configure it and see what will happen.

it never worked since launch it will not work in 2013 this feature never ever worked on ps3

I don't know what I am doing wrong but i keep on getting the red cross (My PS3 isn't connecting with the media server, please help :-(

@iqbalfitri Sorry I've never used vista. I don't know what you should do... I don't even know if it works on Vista.
