When I was 13 I had a tremendous fear of being financially unstable. I also had been forced to do a lot of things I didn’t enjoy as a result of my families socioeconomic status. To this day I’ll never forget what my uncle told me: “Find something you love and be the absolute best at - someone will pay you if you’re truly the best!” From a trailer park to owning a supercar, working with Olympians, and now coaching the highest jumper in the world, that single piece of advice inspires me to this day. The second is valuing relationships. Amen brother! And congratulations.

Cool story! It’s very similar to mine, except my dream car was a 308. I was voted class clown in high school and least likely to succeed. But, I believed in myself and was driven to become an entrepreneur. I grew a business into a national leader, with locations and employees throughout the country. I sold to a multibillion dollar global firm a few years ago and remain as CEO and a Director. Like you, I also have a collection of Ferrari’s…including a Classiche 308 GTSI that my high school buddies told me I’d never be able to afford. Most importantly, while I took immense risk, I couldn’t have achieved my success with lots of dedicated employees. It’s why when I sold the company, every employee received a check. I currently have a venture capital fund and enjoy bringing wisdom and capital to other entrepreneurs seeking the American dream. Good luck with your channel and future pursuits.
