The game is Star Wars: Battlefront II (Classic)

I really have no idea how you guys will respond to this series and I am happy to respond to any criticisms or questions in the comment. I know that you are all likely to expect me to make more rage videos and I am on board with that :D just not sure how I am going about it yet.

11, 000 SUBSCRIBERS!?!!? Guys, that's ridiculous, When I released the rant I was on 2K subs. You guys have seriously had such an amazing effect on my channel and how I imagine my future may change now.

I have GOOD news and BAD news;

The Good news is that after reading thousands of comments, I have seen what annoys people the most about my series as well as mistakes I have made, on top of that I have had a few requests and new ideas about what I am covering, so I decided to re-script and re-record a lot of Part 3 to integrate a lot of new stuff, I think you guys are going to enjoy how spicy it gets, so look forward to that I guess.

The bad news is that thanks to this, I am still in production on it and I MIGHT not be able to release it on the following Friday, it may be delayed, but I will release it the moment it is proofed and finished, it shouldn't take much longer than next Friday.

P.S. You can totally use "Decimated" in the context that I do, please stop commenting about it, I am using the primary definition, which is, "To remove a large portion of" - this is because decimate sounds slick as hell as a word and it fits the definition of slicing a Star destroyed in half etc. < I am totally putting a line about it in part 3 ;-)

"Maybe Holdo and Snoke dated in the past?" Ugh, could you imagine them trying to go out for dinner? Holdo would have an exact place in mind, but refuse to tell Snoke a single thing about it until they got there. And when they did, Snoke would make his First Order something expensive yet without substance.

Don't shove this "failure is the best teacher" line down my throat and have your main character, Rey, emerge victorious in nearly every single dangerous situation. She is immune to failure. This movie says one thing and shows another.

That shot of Mark Hamill nearly hyperventilating behind Rian Johnson is just so painful to watch.

"Rey, a completely blank slate, perfect in every way was waiting for her parents to completely define her origins. And now Rey, a completely blank slate, perfect in every way has no origin of interest"

Wha a great way to sum up why Rey is a trash character. Thank you.

I cannot stop bitterly laughing at Mark Hammil’s description of how he had to pretend he was not acting as Luke Skywalker but as a different guy, maybe Jake Skywalker. Holy shit.

1:22:51 "Or even the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine." That remark aged beautifully.

1:22:47 “Rey was speculated to be the child of Luke Skywalker, or Obi-Wan Kenobi, or even the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine”

This aged well

You missed a plot hole with the “parents reveal scene” in my opinion. Rian Johnson has said that he decided to make Rey’s parents “nobody” because he believed it was the hardest thing for her to hear, which is wrong. JJ Abrams already told Rey the hardest thing for her to hear.

It was established in The Force Awakens that Rey had been on Jakku for most of her life waiting for her parents. — “I know all about waiting... for my parents” she tells BB8 — Then Maz Kanata gets Rey to admit to herself that whoever she’s been waiting for are not coming back. An emotional moment that puts her in tears.

So Rey already knows they’re not coming back, but now she’s upset that the people who are not coming back are “nobody”? That doesn’t make sense. And why when pressed by Kylo would she refer to her parents as “nobody”? It was never indicated in these movies that she hoped for her parents to be significant people in the galaxy. *FANS* were hoping that Rey’s parents would explain her abilities, but Rey was just looking for family. I think this is proof that Rian Johnson (maybe unwittingly) was writing to subvert fan expectations and not for character development. He basically reshoots the Maz Kanata scene but inserts Kylo and acts like Rey was expecting her parents to be prominent people.

That scene bothered me because it made Rey less interesting, and also because it didn’t make sense that she would be upset that the people who deserted her were “nobody”.

Isaac Asimov used the term "idiot plot" for a story which "only works if every a character is an idiot."

His specific example was Character X knows something and keeps it from Character Y for no reason.

...Which seems to describe Holdo.
