Record Lap Nordschleife | Audi RS3 Sedan

With a time of 7:40.748 minutes, the new Audi RS 3 Sedan with racing and development driver Frank Stippler at the wheel beat the lap record for the compact class on the Nürburgring Nordschleife by 4.64 seconds.
Above all, the torque splitter, with its fully variable torque distribution on the
rear axle, contributed to the record time in the “Green Hell.” The torque splitter will be used in an Audi series model for the first time. Starting today, the new RS 3** is available for order.

That new rear differential really changed the game when it comes to the typical understeer, but best of all is that one of a kind engine. I need one before they are gone!

ANYONE ELSE NOTICE that at the 02:00 mark he understeers a bit over the curbing and switches from RS Performance to Dynamic mode? He then completes the rest of the lap in Dynamic mode. I really would like to hear the reasoning behind this. I also wonder if this was deliberately done for specific sections of the ring. Great driving and well balanced car!
