Laurens Vanthoor secures the first place in Porsche 911 GT3 R for Manthey Racing. He showed the fastest lap in 08:09:105 at the Top 30 Qualifying.

I have watched many on boards of cars but this is the only one that made me have a massive grin on my face after the lapped ended. I was astonished on how quick this lap was and how smooth it was. It is and always will be my favourite on board lap

Eingeblendete Geschwindigkeit wäre noch sehr interessant gewesen. Wahnsinn, allein Flugplatz, Schwedenkreuz, Mutkurve. Jedes km/h mitgenommen. Wann bremst er den bitte Eingangs Karussel, kurz vor Ende des rechten Curbs? What? Zweites Karussel wirft er Grello einfach so rein :D. An allen anderen Stellen sieht es einfach überall gefühlt etwas schneller aus. Unglaublich! Die Reifen sind wohl auch besser geworden, da die zweite Runde die schnellere war?

He leaves the GP-Strecke / enters Nordschleife at 1:55 and passes the final corner of Nordschleife at 8:23. If you add some time for braking and turning, I think pure Nordschleife time would be 6:35 at most. That's some 10 seconds faster than e.g. McLaren P1 (which has twice the horsepower).
