Srsly, Meg took a lot of shit for her seemingly lack of skills, but she was 50%+ of the live show, maybe more. She was pure rock. She was AMAZING live. I miss the Stripes so much.

Sometimes less is more. My 2 favorite drummers are John Densmore of The Doors and Meg White. I absolutely know that there are better drummers, but they are my favorites. They did so much with so little.

Her rushing and dragging the beat is a bit much for me....however, it does add a quirkiness to the song that make it appealing....if that makes any sense. Listen to any J dilla track where the hi hat or snare is slightly "off" and it's a wonderful thing man. It's what makes them unique.
