The idea of springlocks terrifies me. That entire suit has always seemed like a iron maiden to me. And makes me wonder, who the hell would willingly get in that suit unless they were suicidal?

the spring lock scene is insanely disturbing compared to all of the others with this. brings legit fear out of me

I love how they don’t even pretend the suit is safe. They’re just like “some of you may die, but it’s a sacrifice…I am willing to make.”

No one could pay me to get into one of those springlock suits, I'm sorry.

I love how not only Battington not only made the two animatronics to fit the era when it's supposed to take place, but made the animatronic do the open face thing to keep it accurate to how the animatronics were for Sister Location.

Hope to see more amazing remakes from him and see how far he can go with it!

Battington's FNAF VHS Squimpus Remakes, especially the Nonexistent Video remake, are both definitely have brought spin-chilling moments, and of course with his own vintage FNAF model designs which makes it look so realistic; like the old vintage chuck-e-cheese and showbiz animatronics back in the old 1970s-1980s. And honestly though, his FNAF VHS remakes are indeed incredibly outstanding and terrifying at the same time.

One detail I like that scrumptious added, is that the sound of the failure is like that of a car backfiring. This is how the books described the sound of the locks failing and snappi ng back into place.

As a person who works at a Chuck'E'Cheese and regularly has to wear the mascot suit the idea of being in a costume that has the potential to kill you while at the same time having a bunch of chidren swarming you is terrifying.

Honestly if I am looking at the "on stage scene correctly" it seems like the Golden Freddy robot recognized William and was trying to alert Bonnie (and or act itself) but because it was in the middle of a pre-programmed show, it ultimately couldn't do anything. The following scene in which you see the "Stripped" Golden Freddy crawling around on the ground seems like it's trying to follow after William after he attempted to "off-line it" and stop him from either hurting more kids or beginning to hurt him (like it was trying to stop him as if he was on a "stop these people at all costs" list). Another thing seems to be the person watching the Freddy crawl along the ground most likely would be a taunting William due to the fact that after we see the springlock failure, we then see the same 1st-person perspective (like in the "Freddy hall video") running to a different location, most likely trying to get help (although considering the animatronics don't "like" him (and that's putting it mildly) I imagine they just watched him die.

12:44 is the scariest part to me. Being trapped in a bathroom with a vile animatronic's insides blocking the only exit while the building is burning down? Jesus Christ.

It really describes the feeling that something just…isn’t quite right. These animatronics were made for the joy of children, or they were supposed to do that. However, something went very wrong with the entire plan for the establishment..

Realizing that Afton probably enjoys watching the workers panic in the suits/get springlocked is honestly so terrifying, and it adds a layer of sickness to it all. Battington adding him in that hallway was such a small detail that has such large amounts of context behind it. It's honestly so disturbing to think about how large of a smile he had, how much he enjoys the suffering. Mad props to Battington for sure, he's such a talented creator.

The spring lock scene is honestly so disturbing. These are always so well made. I had a very weird image pop into my head when Bonnie said "I got stuck in a washing machine"😂😂😂

The way battington made the springlocks actually made it a lot more scary for a springlock failure lol

For me the scene with the fiberglass animatronic was the most disturbing because it feels like one of those old obscure gritty videos you find on youtube while in a rabbit hole, it feels way too real and to top it all off the messed up audio playing happy birthday of all things yeeesh.

“If springlock failure is imminent, Fazbear Entertainment requires you to swiftly but safely return to the parts and service room with another employee. Have the employee wind up the spring locks around your head, neck, and chest and remove those parts of the suit. If done properly, and the suit hasn’t failed yet, remove the rest of the suit. If it begins to fail, have the employee call an ambulance and pry off the suit before help arrives. A prybar, hatchet, electric drill, hammer, and hacksaw are present in the parts and service room, the employee may have to use these tools to release you from the suit. It is imperative that you remain calm the entire time and express these instructions to the employee, as only two employees are ever qualified for operating a suit in a location and they work on different shifts, and the employee will need your guidance.”

“In the event where you and the employee get to the room too late and the springlocks prevent speech, remove your gloves and try to pry off the suit while the employee searches for a prybar. If the springlocks have made movement in your limbs impossible, try to not move at all. Don’t struggle, it will only make the pain worse. Please wait for the employee to save you. Expect to faint or blackout from pain, blood loss, stress, and anxiety as it is a normal response, try your hardest to stay conscious.”

“If the suit locks you’re on stage or while playing with children, don’t move. Calmly ask the children to leave and to find an employee, or have the stage-hand employee close the curtains. Whatever you do, do not let the children see blood. If you are lucky, or some might call it unlucky, the locks won’t restrict movement.”

“If an employee is not available, or failure has already happened, immediately return to the service room and stay as still and calm as possible. It will all be over soon. Thank you for working with us, you truly were part of the band. There is a tape recorder within the parts and service room for you to speak your final words.”

“End training tape”

I watched the 2nd half this video last night at about 12:45am. Everything was fine and creepy, until Ryan talked about how his eyes were tearing up. When I saw that face under the table, that’s some genuine fear I haven’t felt in a long time. It fr brought out a primal fear instinct in me that I haven’t felt in a long time. Absolutely excellent job Battington.

You see I personally believe the springlock suits and such could be a functional thing and a very profitable thing, and most definitely "safe" I think. From the looks of things it's how they were handled and how safety worked, that worker on stage at 1:50 seemed nervous, most likely not due to fear of failure, but the sheer pressure and uneasy feeling of smiling Mr. Afton staring at him that whole time, staring at him almost as if he took some kind of joy in watching the employee freak out.

(and well, freaking out or being nervous or scared can cause sweat, which sounds like a terrible thing to occur when you're moving around on a stage in a springlock suit. Though let's take into consideration that's a safety flaw in general, you have a furry suit on in a pizza establishment. You are most certainly going to sweat.)
