I bought a 30$ ticket from sweden to germany with Ryanair but due to the plane broke down they had to get an other plane from england. I was 4 hours late. Ryanair had to pay me a penalty, that was about what i had paid for my next leg the next day with a private jet carrying me and four others to Luxembourg. 😂 €321.46

One aircraft means one maintenance procedure and manual to follow as well, which is quite genius. And all the planes share parts.

FYI Its not first come first seating. But the LC airlines here in Europe are amazing! You can literally do a weekend away with a backpack for $25 a person in flights!

It's not first come first serve seating except on southwest airlines in the US. They don't make money on $10 tickets; they make money on the countless add-ons, like checked bags and selected seats (instead of randomly assigned ones), which result in people spending almost as much per flight with them as on the legacies.

Both airlines go to Heathrow and easy jet also uses a321 not just a320 and Ryan Air uses 3 diffrenet types of B737 not just the one. And also u book ur seats it's not fist come first serve.

I’m EasyJet cabin crew… and we do fly to larger airports. We don’t go to any airport where we are not ranked 1 or 2. But we still fly to the larger airports as it’s an important source of revenue for the company due to a lot of the larger airports being important business routes😊

My dad's a pilot for British Airways and he's been doing that job for over 30 years. I've been with him on a few work trips abroad and it's pretty cool

They've had allocated seating since like early 2010s but it's randomly allocated and you can pay a small amount to pick your seat

Profit turnover aren’t higher, cause otherwise don’t you think that all the companies in the world would be doing low budget flying?

EasyJet also flies the A319 and even A318 I think. Not only a320
