Too bad that these interactions are only in the very beginning of the game. Sets up a bit of an unrealistic expectation for the rest of the game except no one else besides the prologue do the NPCs actually react to you picking things up around them. You can even take a Varuun dude's only spare outfit in his whole place from right next to him and he just doesn't care.

btw, the rest of the game no one reacts to anything, you can point the gun to their faces, shoot around them... no reaction whatsoever. GTA3 and Gothic2 were more interactive 20 years ago...

This is literally the only area in the game with this level of awareness and interaction from the NPCs almost as if they knew reviewers and players would do this when first booting up the game.

It isnt that impressive.

every bethesda game in the first 30 min, than they don't care anymore. it's just there for the first imprssions videos.
