My calendar already shows the live date on my home screen. On a Pixel 6 running regular Android 12.

As someone who is totally blind, and relies on the android accessibility suite, specifically, Talkback, I'm a little disappointed that they did not put more emphasis into that as well in this update, however, I know that in the 12.2 update, there are some minor changes. I wonder if Google is working on better braille support? Right now, I feel that is one thing that is really lacking.

Google should make brightness bar slider vertical while in landscape mode. It takes wide unnecessary space while in horizontal orientation when the Device is in landscape mode

The calendar detail has always been correct on my Pixel 6 Pro, since the first release of Android 12 (now running 12L)

Found it! To go from 12L beta to 13 beta, go to enroll page, opt out, and then immediately opt back in, and you'll be given two options, 12L or 13, opt in to 13 immediately.

So, a few minor cosmetic UI changes of little consequence. Really, 'version updates' could be spaced every two or three years.
