I'd add a little tip. If you want great photos of the Brooklyn Bridge, try walking over the Manhattan Bridge. It's a grittier experience (thanks to the chain link fence, and subway trains running alongside you) but it's a lot quieter and the views are incredible (especially where people have cut holes in the chain link!) From certain points it looks like the Statue of Liberty is stood on the Brooklyn Bridge.

0:12 mark, Are people allowed to climb up and sit on the rails of the bridge like to take a pic or shoot some video? Is it legal in nyc?

That would be a terrible place to be if you had to go to the bathroom, especially if you were in the middle of the bridge XD
