My injury happened in april 2018. Had nerve transfer surgery within time. Pain is still there however its less severe. I got part of my arm working.

What does it feel like to have a brachial plexus injury? I got in a motorcycle accident last year, but until last week, I thought I had only gotten hemiplegia from it. I’m feeling a tearing pain on my scapula at its connection to my trap, on my hemiplegic side. According to that logic, how does that work, cause from what i understand, the hemisphere of the brain controls the opposite side of the body. I.E., right hemisphere controls left limbs. With this understanding of the brain, how can I smack my head on the right side, get my hemiplegia on the left, and still get this brachial plexus pain on my left side?

I am 5 weeks post accident with C5 & C6 fractured and right scapula fracture and Brachial Plexus injury. I have already had done an EMG and MRI. I have no clue what the results are as it takes a month to get an appointment. What exercises should I concentrate on?
