Great video thanks JoEzzy! You could sell your car; and do this instead. When my car was in the shop from an accident; I had to put a $300 deposit for my debit card with Enterprise....I kept re-renting the same jeep suv; until my car was finished...I did get the $300 back; but had to pay $42 day(state farm price).you got a great deal! So basically you're paying $150 week, that's decent.

On the ENTERPRISE Terms and Conditions... It specifically says YOU CAN NOT carry Passengers or Goods FOR HIRE. You are in breach of contract using a rental for ANY GIG DELIVERY or PASSENGER service.

Great video JoEzzy, I have a lot of family who moved to Florida, and wanted to do Lyft Uber out there when I visit, especially when in Orlando, where I was for a second during Katrina, while New Orleans was recovering. The transponder issue is what I had concern about from an outsider standpoint. How and where does one get a transponder or something that deals with those tolls because there are so many tolls out here in Florida, especially in Miami and etc?

Thanks so much for the great information. My very first car accident 2 weeks ago, I was completely totaled. I was in a doordash delivery at a red light, guy coming up behind me didn't see me at all (he was txting). The body shop literally said "this car is never gonna see the road again" plus it was a 2002. The back door was totally smashed in, and the frame bent so much that the driver side and side door were stuck open. I was like "ballpark if I wanted to fix it?" 15k. HA! It's GONE. Cleaned it out, got my plates, took one last look, sighed, walked away.

What is scary is if it was a small car I'd literally be dead. This was a minivan I had, so imagine the size of a minivan taking that much impact vs what would happen to a vw beetle.

I'm glad an uber driver mentioned hertz and that he was driving a rental, as I told him my situation. Now watching this video, I think I might give it a shot next week seeing as I'm waiting on insurance and who wants to buy a car immediately? I might as well stack some money and experience a rental car for the first time. Thanks so much dude. I got too dasher this month and the accident was on the FIRST of the month lol... so I need to jump back in the game

Great video. I didn't see any rentals for $1 but I saw for $6 For some reason at Miami Airport you see one for 6 and then the rest is up into the 20's and up. Fort Lauderdale Airport you see for around the same but the prices go up to about eleven. still a good deal.

Hey so are you saying if you have a credit card they still charge just not as much? Or a credit card they don’t charge at all? Thanks for the video also.

I miss Florida man. Here in Oklahoma the cheapest is 55 a day plus insurance is like 39-45 a day.

Ps
Another video inspiration for you
The three phases of food delivery and commercial vs personal car insurance

Sitting in the parking lot phase one
Driving to the restaurant or store phase two
Delivering to the customer phase three
Driving back to the parking lot or driving around waiting for your next order phase one
This is important

HOW DID YOU GET ON THE PLATFORM WITH UBER TO GET THE CALLS>>>YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE REGISTRATION DOESNT MAKE SENSE ???

There is a big problem with this and you my friend have to be careful. I was thinking to do the same BUT.... you are using it for commercial purposes. This is why UBER rentals charges more, because you are paying for rideshare insurance. You are not covered if you are online waiting for a rider and you get accident. So you have to cover everything yourself. Uber might cover you once your pick up but you still have to pay the $2500 deductible. Your insurance wont pay for rideshare or delivery accidents. They have add ons that you have to pay extra but it won't cover car rentals, unless your main car was involved in an accident, not if you are simply renting for UBER. They have ways of finding if you are using any of these apps and you were online. Its public information. The only thing I can think of maybe getting the extra insurance from the rental place and if you get into accident, you simply don't give any info that you were ridesharing or delivering. Not sure if the rental place insurance will look at the same log information to get out of paying.

I was wondering if a Chime credit builder card would work as a regular credit card for these types of rentals. Anyone have experience with this card?

I used my credit card, got a 2023 Rogue with no deposit/hold. Depending on your credit you can have a deposit up to $300 PLUS the rental estimate. I wouldn't even do it for $700 holding on my card.

Did you have to bring in any bills or paycheck stubs because you used a debit card to get the rental?
