You didn’t start with enough hair on your upper lip to get this mustache. What made Selleck’s mustache different and better is that he did not trim it to the top line of the upper lip. He trimmed it to the bottom line of the upper lip, where it meets the bottom lip. A lot of people miss that and end up with a mustache that just isn’t the same shape.

as a guy with years of shaving practice I can tell you that for better result and not getting irritated for line up, you better remove the safety bar from your razor and then line up the upside of your mustache !
