IMO, it is an amazing work of both music and visual imagery. Different people get different messages, but for me, it represents hope, a hope that we as a species actually have a future. This woman is (obviously) in space, looking down at Earth showing a peace sign. She is not an explorer, or astronaut as we know today, it looks like this is at least, semi-routine for her, she could even be a passenger on a commercial spacecraft. Is she returning from a trip or starting a voyage to some other location in space? We don’t know, but she takes a moment to look up from her screen (the clear plastic) and stops reading whatever she was to view Mother Earth, and reaches out her hand as if to connect with her. It represents a future where we, someday, will respect our home planet, put aside our differences, and devote our efforts and to peace, exploration and learning. We will stop the current wars and pollution and turmoil that destroys our planet and our civilization. Hope. Personally, I am very cynical that we will reach such a time in our future, but I pray I am wrong. Hope.
