I'm so proud seeing that ESA (European Space Agency) used Stellardrone in one of their vids on black holes in the universe. It's well deserved for such a project to be the OST of space exploration.

This album has got me through college, university, work and now looks like it will get me through my phd as well. I've always struggled with whether I am smart enough, passionate enough, dedicated enough, I still feel I was never supposed to be a scientist. But then I listen to this artist, or carbon based lifeforms (or other similar artists), and this wave of curiosity, wonder and humility just washes over me. Thank you, Stellardrone, for wonderfully capturing these feelings in your music and inspiring the inner scientist in me to keep going. It's crazy how so many others have had their own experience, what an album.

This was posted 10 years ago and I started listening to it 10 years ago. It got me through my undergraduate, my masters, my PhD, and now my job. Thank you Stellardrone ♥

Hey guys.
I am a 29 years old man.
When I listen to music like this I often must cry because I find it so beauiful. The same in nature... sometimes I can't understand how I am the only one that gets so emotional. Is it just me who feels like that or are there other people out there?
Sometimes I feel very alone because I want to be understood. But there are so few people who want to talk about deep stuff and think the same as I think.
Airglow is such a song where I really cried 10 minutes ago. The pictures I saw in my head, the feelings that I felt. Wow. It was incredible. A rush, feelings of freedom, of beauty, of unlimited possibilities and pictures of incredible stuff like space and love.

I always love reading the comments section for this kind of music! In the 70's it was Abba keeping humanity sane, now it's this! Peace and Love to all souls who read this!

Red giant is the one for me.
You can literally go anywhere in your own mind.
It's been emotional.

Song 3: Eternity:

Astronomer Carl Sagan's speech:

The spacecraft was a long way from home.

I thought it would be a good idea, just after Saturn, to have them take one last glance homeward. From Saturn, the Earth would appear too small for Voyager to make out any detail. Our planet would be just a point of light, a lonely pixel hardly distinguishable from the other points of light Voyager would see: nearby planets, far off suns. But precisely because of the obscurity of our world thus revealed, such a picture might be worth having.

So, here they are: a mosaic of squares laid down on top of the planets in a background smattering of more distant stars. Because of the reflection of sunlight off the spacecraft, the Earth seems to be sitting in a beam of light, as if there were some special significance to this small world; but it's just an accident of geometry and optics. There is no sign of humans in this picture: not our reworking of the Earth's surface; not our machines; not ourselves. From this vantage point, our obsession with nationalisms is nowhere in evidence. We are too small. On the scale of worlds, humans are inconsequential: a thin film of life on an obscure and solitary lump of rock and metal.

Consider again that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you've ever heard of, every human being who ever was lived out their lives. The aggregate of all our joys and sufferings; thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines; every hunter and forager; every hero and coward; every creator and destroyer of civilizations; every king and peasant, every young couple in love; every mother and father; hopeful child; inventor and explorer; every teacher of morals; every corrupt politician; every supreme leader; every superstar; every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lived there — on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena.

Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner. How frequent their misunderstandings; how eager they are to kill one another; how fervent their hatreds. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light.

Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity — in all this vastness — there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. Like it or not, for the moment, the Earth is where we make our stand.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. It underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the only home we've ever known.

The pale blue dot.

I'm feeling something new and great, a new feeling. I'm trying to change my life, and listening to this music make me think out of the box, I feel like connected to something bright, that's very peaceful, and I'm sure the change I want for my life will give me amazing results ! Love for all, we are the same soul broken in billions of parts, for sure each of one can change his life and make it bright !

These tunes got me through my CS education. I listened to this album almost daily for three years before I earned my CS degree. I still listen to this from time to time while programming at work.

I haven't smoked pot for maybe 5 years now. Completely gave the stuff up. Yet this music makes me feel like I'm stoned without even touching the stuff. Such beautiful m, reflective music. Wish I'd discovered this all those years ago

I have had this on repeat since I found it early today. Productivity and creativity booster for sure.

I'm a copywriter and business owner. I quit college because I found a better way for me.

I'm not saying you should do that, but what matters most is that you honor yourself first. That's the only way you can truly honor others.

It's impossible to give from an empty cup.

You are here to share your gifts and your uniqueness.

You can tell when you are over the target by how you feel. It's called passion. That which lights YOU up. No explanation, justification or rationalization is needed.

What is YOU, what is TRUE can always be done from a place of integrity.

That's your first test. Do you trust you'll be supported in your preference?

The only enemy is within because enemies are created projections of your unconscious; they point to your wounds and blind spots. Blindspots true friends can help you see around.

If you want a true friend, be a true friend first. Give, share, and uplift without expectation, and you are already more than halfway there.

AND, once you get to your goal, you'll look around for your next goal, and so on.

No matter where you stand today, no matter how broken you think you are, you can heal, and you can make progress.

Be sure to enjoy the ride. You never get to where you want to go by paying a heavy price. If it's heavy, put it down, or at least ask for help.

You are better to your family when you are happy, healed and whole. Commit to the process.

Follow your truth with courage, watch life echo back and respond with continued support, playfulness and synchronicity.

Trust your timing above all else. Stay away from people who don't honor your first response.

Those who would push you through abuse, manipulation or insistence.

We all process information differently and at different rates.

If I live for 40 more years, I can potentially play this album around 7800 times, but still I feel it's not enough, I hope I will be able to listen to it in my next life :)
