I admit it now. Following last year, this season is also weak in overtime.
Currently, the only way for the Dodgers to top the NL West is to finish the game in the 9 inning without fail.

Once the game went to extras I knew it was over, I don't like the free runner on 2nd but the Dodgers need to figure out how to play in extras regardless.

Excellent game from the Guardians exploiting the weak batting offensive power of the Dodgers. Of course the Dodgers attempt to do the same and give it their all with their fielding. A close game for sure, it’s the beginning of the series, we’ve still got a long way to go! If the Guardians can keep this up they’ll definitely get a huge boost on moral and hope keep the momentum up and make post season!

Dodgers offense has been terrible. Started off as best in the league. 1-13 with RISP? With that lineup should be scoring 6 runs no matter who they face.

Gg guardians. The dodgers have been slumping with their hitting, Kershaw pitched good, and they are still terrible in extras. The hitting needs to pick up, or else they’ll find their own way short of the playoffs. Because the NL is getting tougher

I've been watching Dodgers too long to know that good pitching can stop good hitting, and that Dodgers used to win by scrapping for runs by: bunting, stealing, hit-and-run, squeezing, bloop singles, walking, and not waiting for a homer to save the day. Pitchers around the league know where to pitch every single hitter that is swinging for the fence. It's time for Dodger fans to re-wire and get excited about manufacturing runs and seeing what real talent the players can also add to Dodger games. Let's see the lid come off of Dodger offense potential.
Too much attention to "Angle of Launch" will end up, I'm afraid to, "Angle of Repose"!
Play Dodger baseball! Make the league hate the team, not for it's payroll, but for being scrappy winners!
