If you've ever struggled to get up in the morning, you know how hard it is to actually push yourself to be 100%. Nothing is worse than starting your day off thinking it's already going to be a "bad" one. Just because I am a therapist does not mean I am immune to these feelings! In this video, I am sharing a realistic morning routine. This is not your average "wake up at 6am and conquer the day" type of video. If you struggle with anxiety or depression and getting out of bed is difficult for you, tune in for some of the tips I've given my clients when it comes to a morning routine! I know that depression can be different for everyone and on some days I absolutely don’t feel like doing my makeup but sometimes it helps in order to not lay back into bed. I find myself struggling with coming up with motivation for those things but it always helps me to watch grwm videos on YouTube

I definitely have to get up slowly I snooze my alarm to go off in 10 mins I spend that time stretching in bed and my alarm is a gentle motivational song. brushing my teeth before I do anything else in the morning helps wake me up more.

I have a tshirt and sweatpants combo that I go to when I know Im having a day

Gentle mornings with small kids.. I don't feel like there's not much room for my emotions these days.. Also, the better my sleep is and my sleep hygiene, the better the mornings. But life is unpredictable.

Just started fluoxetine and took it at 10am first second and third day and its really made my depression 10xworse that fast so im going to try take it 10pm while im asleep, has this helped anyone else taking there depression tablets at night? I hope its better

God so loved the the world that he gave his only begotten son that he gave him to the world to die for our sins that whosoever believe him may not die but have eternal life. With that death came the gift if the Holy Spirit of God and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom and so I share this to comfort you and say that truly he does save and if your feeling hopeless just call out to him in faith and see what he does.
