I'm a US trained dentist returned from working in Florida for 3 years after specialization at Upitt college of dental medicine and passing the Fl boards. I decided to avoid the corrupt stench in my own country and went off to Kigali, Rwanda to see to the business of opening a clinic in an upcoming country, located the Rwanda Medical Council, paid them 1500USD to process my papers. This was in 2008. A month later I call to see what progress has occurred - nothing. Six months later I call the council - nothing, everyone's sitting on their ass. ONE YEAR LATER I call to find out if there is any progress in processing my papers. Lady on the line says " Hey you're calling here all the time -- WHAT'S THE HURRY?!" lol

I live in Kenya Africa - one of the most corrupt countries in the world. What happens here would be hilarious if it wasn't so annoying. The Governance is UNASHAMEDLY corrupt it's a way of life, our culture now. It's so pervasive it's in the air that we breathe.


Cops will stop you because there's a bug flattened on your windscreen, reach inside your car, grab your key in the ignition, turn the car off and keep the key until you're so frustrated you have to pay.


I'm trying to get my passport renewed - nightmare - you have to get your original birth certificate ( never seen mine Im 50yrs old), your parents national ID, organize and produce a parent's death certificate if any has passed ( my mother passed 2 yrs ago but I will be using her ID because getting a death certificate is another bullshit journey) pay an upfront fee, wait in a line for an interview for I hear 6 hrs and I've had 4 passports since I was 10. This is the new requirement from the kakistocratic, kleptomaniacal government who, I believe, have realized that because they have made things so difficult due to high taxes to compensate for their frivolous grand theft of all foreign loans and the national taxpayers money in the treasury they need to make leaving the country as difficult as possible for the biggest host to their parasitic ways -- the middle class. Anyhow my brother who's kids go to school in S.A and U.S gave me some numbers at passport control and I will be bribing the shit out of these characters to speed it up. I aint trying to get my old lady's death certificate what a joke


You in America need to THWART this trump guy's massive injection of corruption into the system and rid yourselves of the Republican sycophants. You and your grandkids and your hemorrhaging wealth will otherwise regret it forever

The most corrupt thing I have experienced is the United States of America, my entire life. By the time I was born, everything was already owned, and all the big fixes were already in place. The entire structure of the US government is dedicated to perpetuating a vast gulf between the people and the economic royalists that control our "representatives." Moving down the social ladder is easy - just stop playing the game. Moving up the social ladder is incredibly difficult, and it almost always requires screwing people around you. The richer you want to be, the more people you need to fuck over.

I’m British, retired with a small private pension to backup the state pension. My financial advisor told me that he had found a way to take me out of income tax completely. Of course I told him NO. I wish to support our military, police, fire service, health workers and teachers. Heros all. But I’m sure many business people would not hesitate to avoid tax, rather than pay more than the legal amount. For me, anyone not prepared to pay for the benefits of living in a country, should be sent to live in whatever tax haven they are using.
