This is a beginner friendly makeup video , I didn't include eyeliner, eyeshadows, lashes, contour powders etc because I really wanted to keep it simple.

I would include primer as an essential. I’m over 50 so anything that helps fill-in my pores that are increasingly looking like craters 😩 is an essential. Love this video!

That Clinique Ruby Pop is the red I’ve been searching for my entire life!!! I’m that person who says “I can’t wear a red”. I lean towards pinks because I have a light skin tone and have zero idea how to wear makeup (and never do with the exception of lip color and a little mascara) and find reds too harsh and wash me out. I’m a newbie subscriber 👍🏼 and I need all the help I can get being that I’ll be 50 this year and, despite my youthful appearance, my skin is showing it’s age (especially in sunlight 😳). Lol

Your make-up tutorials and tips are brilliant! I realise what I have done wrong all along.

I have three questions:

- Do you clean the brushes after each use? How to clean them?

- As you’ve advised, it’s best to makeup would in daylight in front of a window and not in artificial light as in bathroom. But what if I want to doll up in the evening for a party? Or in winter when it’s dark in the morning? Do you use a beauty dish to do the makeup?

- Do I test the correct tone/undertone via samples on bare facial skin or after primer/moisturizer?
