Euroscola - 30 November 2017

During the schools' presentations of the #euroscola session of 30 November, the German delegate stated that "it is a privilege to stand in the heart of the EU to discover its democratic processes, especially in times when nationalism is on the rise, with some fundamental EU values being rejected".

Then, he invited his European fellows "to raise your voice and defend the values that are important for you"!
He was addressing some 530 high-school students and their teachers from 22 EU countries gathered in the hemicycle of the European Parliament in Strasbourg​.

Participants also had the opportunity to ask EU-related questions to the Spanish MEP Inés Ayala​ Sender. Those ranged from how to bridge wage gaps between men and women, as well as between youth and senior workers, to the consequences of Brexit on companies' delocalisation and EU further integration chances.
