They really went back to their roots with this one, with the Doctor's face appearing and the trippy imagery (not just the usual time vortex).

Even if the fx is 'lazy' it won't change the fact that this is by FAR the best Doctor Who theme for me. It has a classic Who vibe which i love despite never seeing a single episode, Matt's smile is amazing, the sparkly things just fills me with pure joy how can you not like it IT'S SO PRETTY TOO AGH

I love these titles. I really do. I wish they'd stayed for Series 8 for Capaldi, although I do like the new titles. 
These titles are kind of like Classic Who titles but brought up to date in a way.

Everytime I hear that theme, I get so happy.  I literally listen to all the various themes from the first Doctor up until now at work over, and over!!

When I first saw this intro I literally giggled with so much excitment when I saw Matt Smith’s face in the intro. I hope the 2023 specials delivers us Tennant’s face in the intro, that would be so cool.

While these titles are quite lazily made, I have to admit that I love the score! While this particular version was only used once, it's one of my all time favourites. And this opening could have been excellent if had better SFX because it is in concept one of DWs best and most original openings. It's just the final product that let everything down.

This exact opening ran only in The Snowmen. Then they changed the music slightly.
Little bells were gone :'(
